2 Day Safari Tarangire

Arrival: In Tanzania you will be picked up at the Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to your arranged hotel in Arusha/Moshi town where you will have an overnight stay for the start of your trip.  Driving Time: 45min - 1 hourOvernight: Hotel/Lodge in Arusha/Moshi Town 

Day 1. Tarangire National ParkA drive start from Arusha/Moshi town at early hours of the morning, crossing a countryside beautiful region of Maasai steppe up to Makuyunu Juction. Then your safari took a left junction and head to Tarangire National Park for the drive of two hours.After entrace procedure are completed, your safari guide will take you to the best spotted widlife areas. The safari will pass through Tarangire River which feeds the area with flowing water. A lot of animals in search of water can be found alongside the side drinking water throught the year. You expect to see elephants, elands, wildebeests, buffaloes, zebras, gerenuks, giraffes and a lot of birds.Lunch will be taken at one of the arranged sites in the park. After a full day game drive, you will be driven to your Camping site/Lodge outside the park in small towns nearby Ngorongoro Highlands for overnight. 

Day 2. Game Drive in Ngorongoro Conservation Area & CretorAfter a breakfast, A drive will start from your hotel to Ngorongoro gate. After entering, your drive will pass alongside cretor rim and stop by on one the famous location where the cretor can be viewed from the top. Beautiful pictures can be taken here. A drive will continue 600metre downwards alondside a steep hill of the crater rim until the bottom area. It is an unfolded caldera, sometimes referred as the 8th wander of the world & it is home to a larger number of animal species. Yearly adequate water supply & fodders in the crater supports a large number of wildlife which include herds of wildebeest, buffalo, African elephant, zebra, eland, hippos, gazelle & the rare black rhino.  Ngorongoro Crater is also home to a dense population of predators like lion, leopard, cheetahs, hyena, and jackals, birds are abundant from some flocks of flamingos at Lake Magadi, pelicans, Ibises, ostrich, goose & other county birds. Packed lunch will be served at the crater floor. Late afternoon drives out & back to Arusha where your safari ends.
