3 Days Tarangire, Lake Manyara, & Ngorongoro

  Arrival in Tanzania: You will be picked up at the Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to your arranged hotel in Arusha/Moshi town where you will overnight.  Driving Time: 45min - 1 hourOvernight: Hotel/Lodge in Arusha/Moshi Town B: breakfast   L: lunch  D: dinner

 Day 1          (B, L, D)Tarangire National ParkWe start our drive early in the morning from Arusha/Moshi, crossing a vast Maasai  steppe up to Makuyunu Junction. Then, we drive over the left junction towards Tarangire National Park (approximately 2 hours’ drive).After entrance procedure is completed, your safari guide will take you to the best spotted wildlife areas. The safari will pass through Tarangire River which feeds the area with flowing water.  Lots of animals in search of water can be found alongside the river, all year round. Elephants, elands, wildebeests, buffaloes, zebras, gerenuks, giraffes and a lot of birds are to be seen around.Lunch will be taken at one of the arranged sites in the park. After a full day game drive, you will be driven to your Camping site/Lodge situated outside the park, in small towns, nearby Ngorongoro Highlands for overnight.

 Day 2            (B,L,D)Game Drive in Ngorongoro Conservation Area & CraterWe start our drive to Ngorongoro gate right after breakfast. We’ll drive alongside the Crater rim towards a certain location, on the top, wherefrom the whole Crater can be viewed.  Beautiful pictures MUST be taken here. A drive will continue 600m downwards alongside a steep hill of the crater rim, right the bottom area. It is an unfolded caldera, sometimes referred as the “8th wonder of the world” and it is home to a large number of animal species. Adequate water supply and fodders in the crater, support a large number of wildlife which include herds of wildebeest, buffalo, African elephant, zebra, eland, hippos, gazelle & the rare black rhino.  Ngorongoro Crater is also home to a dense population of predators like lion, leopard, cheetahs, hyena, and jackals. Birds are found in large numbers, numerous flocks of flamingos at Lake Magadi, pelicans, Ibises, ostrich, goose and other county birds. Packed lunch will be served at the crater floor. Late afternoon, we drive out and back to Arusha where your safari ends.

 Day 3     (B, L)Game drive in Lake Manyara National ParkAfter breakfast, we   drive to Lake Manyara National Park with packed lunch. Lake Manyara is often overlooked and perhaps mildly underrated but it’s game rich and best known for its Tree Climbing lions. So, take your chances to take the best possible footage of a tree lion.. We’ll have time for full day game. By the evening we drive back to Arusha
